Noreta Farms has officially commenced construction of new infrastructure projects as part of its Phase 2 expansion plan, reinforcing its commitment to building scalable food production systems in Nigeria.
The expansion follows the successful deployment of Phase 1 infrastructure, which included 4 hectares of fully automated hydroponic greenhouses integrated with renewable energy systems, smart irrigation technology, cold storage facilities, and professional management structures.
Phase 2 will broaden the company’s operational scope by introducing open-field crop assets, expanded production facilities, and fully automated poultry systems spanning broiler, layer, and processing operations.

The newly initiated construction projects include additional farm buildings, operational shelters, enhanced biosecurity zones, and expanded logistics infrastructure designed to support higher production volumes and diversified output.
Unlike traditional agricultural growth models, Noreta’s expansion is engineered with long-term asset performance in mind. The infrastructure is being built to global standards, incorporating controlled-environment systems, durable structural materials, and integrated utilities to ensure reliability under climate and market volatility.
The poultry facilities, currently under development, will feature climate-managed housing systems, automated feeding and monitoring technology, and integrated cold-chain handling to preserve quality from farm to market.

Beyond production growth, the infrastructure development strengthens Noreta’s capacity to maintain consistent year-round output — a key differentiator in markets often affected by seasonal supply shortages.
With Phase 2 investment projected at $20 million, the expansion is structured to create diversified revenue streams across vegetables, cash crops, and protein production.
This development reinforces Noreta Farms’ positioning as an institutional-grade agribusiness platform rather than a conventional farm. By combining technology, governance, and long-term infrastructure planning, the company is building a resilient agricultural model designed to scale across West Africa.
Construction progress updates will continue to be shared as milestones are achieved in the coming months.
